What does healing look like when someone has just come off the streets? Sometimes, it starts with the smallest things—a clean towel, fresh bed sheets, or the quiet comfort of knowing someone cares.
At Integrated Healthcare System (IHCS), we understand that recovery begins with dignity. That’s why we’re thrilled to share a recent act of generosity from Club 100 Charities, in partnership with longtime IHCS volunteer and advocate Mi Sun. Their donation, made through our Amazon Wish List, is making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
The Power of a Thoughtful Donation
This wasn’t just a delivery—it was a message: You are seen. You are valued. You are home.
What Was Donated:
- 27 sets of bed sheets
- 24 full-sized bath towels
- 50 washcloths
These essential items have gone directly to residents in our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs like Dignity Village and Bella House, which serve individuals transitioning out of homelessness and into stability.
“When someone walks into a new unit after months on the street and finds clean, cozy linens waiting, they feel something they haven’t felt in a long time—welcome,” said an IHCS case manager.
Why It Matters:
Clean bedding and hygiene items aren’t luxuries—they’re basic human needs. According to the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, the lack of access to hygiene contributes to higher rates of infection, mental distress, and barriers to social integration for people experiencing homelessness. Donations like this help us eliminate those barriers and start the healing process.
Who’s Behind the Kindness
About Club 100 Charities
Club 100 Charities is a nonprofit with a global heart. Their mission is to support underserved communities through grassroots giving and hands-on involvement. Their values—compassion, dignity, and equity—align perfectly with IHCS’s approach to whole-person care.
We’re honored to partner with an organization that understands that sometimes the smallest acts create the biggest ripples.
Spotlight on Mi Sun: Advocate, Volunteer, Gala Honoree
This gift wouldn’t have happened without the tireless support of Mi Sun, a 2023 IHCS Gala honoree and volunteer who also serves as a board member at Club 100 Charities. Mi Sun has been a consistent presence in our programs—whether leading donation drives, mentoring residents, or simply showing up with a smile.
Her leadership is a powerful example of how one person can catalyze real, lasting impact.
Amazon Wish List: Giving Made Simple
IHCS maintains an Amazon Wish List that’s updated with real-time needs from our outreach and housing teams. Every item you see—blankets, hygiene kits, socks, utensils—serves someone in crisis.
Your Gift Could Be:
- The first fresh towel someone uses in months
- A blanket that keeps a resident warm during recovery
- A small luxury that reminds someone they’re not forgotten
Every package is more than a delivery—it’s a message of hope.
Small Comforts, Big Outcomes
Housing alone doesn’t heal. It’s the stability, dignity, and support that come with it that allow people to begin rebuilding their lives.
At IHCS, we pair housing with:
- Primary and behavioral healthcare
- Substance use recovery and peer support
- Case management and life skills training
But before we can do any of that, we often start with a towel, a toothbrush, or a fresh set of sheets.
How You Can Help
You don’t need to run a nonprofit to make an impact. You just need heart—and a few minutes.

Gratitude That Goes Beyond Words
We’re deeply grateful to Club 100 Charities and Mi Sun for turning everyday items into life-changing gestures. These gifts are not just meeting material needs—they’re affirming the dignity of people who’ve often been overlooked or ignored.
At IHCS, we believe healing is possible for everyone—and that it starts with community.
