We are honored to welcome Ricardo Joassaint as our new Director of Outreach. Ricardo brings a strong passion for health equity and years of experience in connecting communities with life-changing care.
In his new role, Ricardo will lead IHCS’s outreach initiatives—bridging the gap between underserved populations and essential healthcare services. His leadership will help strengthen our ability to meet people where they are, whether through mobile health units, community partnerships, or on-site outreach programs that make care more accessible to those who need it most.

Amarilis Peña, RN-CBHCM – Housing Case Manager Supervisor
Please join us in congratulating Amarilis Peña, now promoted to Housing Case Manager Supervisor. Amarilis has consistently gone above and beyond in her work, helping individuals in our HUD Housing Program receive coordinated, compassionate care. Her deep understanding of both healthcare and housing needs has made her a trusted leader and advocate for our clients.
In her new role, Amarilis will oversee housing peer specialists and ensure every resident receives the personalized support they need to build stability and independence. Her leadership embodies the IHCS belief that everyone deserves not just a home—but a foundation for healing.
Wendell Jackson, CHW – Housing Peer Specialist
We are proud to announce the promotion of Wendell Jackson to Housing Peer Specialist. Wendell’s compassion, lived experience, and dedication to empowering others have been invaluable to our team. As part of the HUD Housing treatment team, Wendell connects deeply with clients, offering understanding and encouragement through every step of their journey to stability.
Eileen Hennie, CHW – Housing Peer Specialist
Alongside Wendell, Eileen Hennie has also been promoted to Housing Peer Specialist. Eileen’s commitment to supporting clients with empathy and consistency has helped transform countless lives within our supportive housing programs. Her work ensures that every individual feels seen, supported, and equipped to achieve lasting wellness.
