Addressing Homelessness: A Collaborative Effort with HHA

At Integrated Healthcare Systems (IHCS), we take pride in being an active member of the Homeless and Housing Alliance (HHA) for the Palm Beach County (PBC) Chapter. Together, we strive to create meaningful change in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. As we reflect on the annual HHA report, we are reminded of the ongoing crisis in our community and the critical role IHCS plays in addressing it.

Palm Beach County’s Homeless Plan Report: A Community Framework

The Palm Beach County Homeless Continuum of Care is a collaborative initiative charged with implementing The Ten-Year Plan to End Homelessness. Established in 2007, the plan’s oversight was entrusted to the Homeless Advisory Board (HAB), formed by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. The Division of Human Services (HSCA) acts as the backbone organization, ensuring effective coordination among service providers, private sector partners, government agencies, and faith-based organizations.

The most recent initiative, Leading the Way Home, builds upon the successes of The Ten-Year Plan, emphasizing the development of a robust and coordinated service delivery system. The ultimate goal is to ensure every homeless individual has a safe and stable place to call home. Learn more about the report here
