Honoring Our Sponsors: Partners in Hope for Cancer Awareness Month

Date

At Integrated Healthcare Systems, Inc. (IHCS), we believe that community health is built through collaboration, compassion, and shared commitment. This October, during Cancer Awareness Month, our mission to promote early detection, prevention, and health equity was made possible through the incredible generosity of our sponsors.

The success of our Cancer Awareness Health Fair was not only a celebration of life and awareness—it was a powerful reminder that when local organizations, businesses, and community groups come together, change truly happens.

💛 A Special Thank You to Our Sponsors

We are deeply grateful to our partners who helped make this year’s Cancer Awareness Health Fair a success:

WaWa
, for their generous $1,000 sponsorship, supporting IHCS’s ongoing outreach and education efforts to help families access cancer screenings and wellness resources.

Walmart, for their $1,250 sponsorship, which helped us provide event essentials, resources, and outreach materials to serve our attendees better.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Palm Beach County Chapter (NCBW PBC), for sponsoring a free mammogram screening, helping ensure that early detection remains accessible to women who need it most.

The Charmettes of Palm Beach County, for sponsoring a mammogram screening as well, reinforcing their long-standing advocacy for women’s health and cancer prevention.

These contributions went far beyond financial support—they helped create moments of relief, discovery, and hope for attendees who might not have otherwise had access to vital screenings.

💗 Why Their Support Matters

Every dollar and every act of generosity translates into real impact. The Cancer Awareness Health Fair wasn’t just an event—it was a lifeline for many individuals in our community.

With the help of our sponsors, IHCS was able to offer:

  • Free cancer screenings, including mammograms, colon, and prostate exams
  • Health education and prevention resources for early detection
  • On-site consultations and guidance from healthcare professionals
  • Mental health and wellness support, acknowledging that healing extends beyond the physical

These resources are often out of reach for underserved communities. But through partnerships like these, IHCS continues to make healthcare accessible, affordable, and equitable for everyone.

🎗 A Community That Cares

The Cancer Awareness Health Fair was more than an opportunity to learn—it was a celebration of community. From survivors sharing their stories to families coming together for education and fun, the event was filled with connection and compassion.

Thanks to the support of WaWa, Walmart, NCBW PBC, and The Charmettes of PBC, hundreds of attendees walked away not only with valuable health insights but with a renewed sense of empowerment and belonging.

Their sponsorships made it possible to bridge the gap between awareness and action—because when a community invests in prevention, it invests in life.

💬 Continuing the Fight

Cancer affects us all in one way or another, but together, we can create a future defined by hope, not fear. IHCS remains committed to providing accessible healthcare services that reach every corner of our community—from primary care and behavioral health to supportive housing and outreach.

We invite everyone reading this to take part in that mission. Whether it’s through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading awareness, every action counts.

To our incredible sponsors—WaWa, Walmart, NCBW PBC, and The Charmettes of PBC—thank you for standing with us. Your generosity fuels our mission and strengthens the heart of our community.

Together, we’re proving that compassion is the greatest force for healing.
